The size of the raquet
Hi, both are played in a closed court, with the following differences: The racketball racket is shorter and wider. The racketball ball is larger and bounces more. The squash ball is denser, smaller, once it is warm it can travel quite when hit well. There is a "tin" about 6 inches high which is out of bounds in squash. Overall, I would say squash is more about the right racket skills, and stamina and patience, and a lot of thinking. Racketball has an easier learning curve but the tough shots are still tough --like hitting the ball where the front wall and the floor connect. i believe squash started earlier, in Britain, racketball is an American game chosen to be easier to learn and as much fun.
